Fargo Road Solar, developed by Nexamp, is a great example of how a native, pollinator friendly seed mix can transform a solar site into an attractive sanctuary of low maintenance pollinator habitat.  The diverse seed mix designed specifically for this site contains 20+ native species of grasses, sedges and wildflowers.  This creates an attractive and dynamic landscape that provides critical habitat across all seasons.  The site Exceeds Standards as per Illinois DNR Pollinator Scorecard.
